Information you give us
Contact form
Your name if you give it, your email address, the topic, subject, and message, and the page you sent it from. We use it to reply to you. It is stored in our database, and a copy is emailed to our inbox so we see it promptly.
Email signup
Your email address and which form you used. We use it to send the equipment checklist and occasional emails from ChairsideSource. It is stored in our database and passed to MailerLite, the service that delivers our email. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe.
Marketplace listings
The details you enter: title, category, condition, price, location, year, brand, description, and up to five photos, along with a seller name, email address, and phone number if you provide them. Listings are reviewed before they appear.
Once a listing is approved, it is public, including the seller name, email address, phone number, and location you entered, so that buyers can contact you. It appears on the marketplace pages and in the site's public listings feed. Only include contact details you are comfortable making public. To change or remove a listing, contact us and include the listing title.
Before any photo is stored, we remove its location data and camera information.
Information collected automatically
Hosting and security
The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in order to deliver pages and block abuse.
Protecting our forms
When you submit a form, we record a keyed, one-way code derived from your IP address, not the address itself, to limit repeated or automated submissions. It is stored with your submission, and our short-term counters that use it are deleted within two days.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without using cookies, and Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, which measures how the site is used and may use cookies or similar identifiers.
Course progress
Your course progress is saved in your own browser's storage and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data resets it.
Advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. As a result of ad serving on this site, these third parties may place and read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, and similar technologies, to collect information.
Other third-party vendors and ad networks that Google permits may also serve ads on this site and use their own cookies to do so. You can opt out of some of these vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Cookies on this site come from the analytics and advertising services above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, though some measurement and ad personalization will not.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, our database, delivering form notices to our inbox, web analytics, and tag management.
- Google: analytics and advertising.
- MailerLite: delivering the emails you sign up for.
We do not give your form submissions to advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the site and its users from fraud or abuse.
How long we keep it
Messages and email signups are kept as long as we need them to respond and keep reasonable records, or until you ask us to delete them. Listings are kept while they are published and for a reasonable period afterward, and we remove them on request. The short-term counters used to protect our forms are deleted within two days.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you have given us, unsubscribe from email at any time, opt out of personalized ads using the links above, and control cookies in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. Contact us to make any request.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
This site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. You can use the opt-outs above instead.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS, and access to the information you send us is limited. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update this page and its effective date.
